IBL Ltd (“IBL”, “the Company”, “us”) takes your privacy and security of your personal data seriously.

The Company collects your personal information in order to complete your registration for the Responsible Business Summit 2024 event (“the event”), to subscribe you to the event mailing list and to keep you informed of other relevant sustainability events and opportunities.

• Surname
• Email
• Job title
• NIC number or passport number
• Contact person for invoicing/payment
• Company name
• VAT and BRN number
• Address
• Country of residence
• Diet/ allergies
• Photos

We use your Registration Data for the following purposes:

Pre-interest registration: To register your interest to the event, manage our database of audience and facilitate future communications with you. It is just an expression of your interest, and this does not entail any obligation later on.

Registration Management: To manage your registration and facilitate the event activities, including communication with you before and during the event.

Post-Event Follow-Up: To conduct post-event follow-up, which may include an offer to participate in an attendee satisfaction survey.

Reasonable Requests: To fulfill any reasonable requests from you related to the event.

Prospection: Based on our legitimate interests, we may use your Registration Data for prospection.

Marketing emails: to send you marketing emails relating to the events or our partners, but only when you have given your consent to receive same.

Communication and marketing: Pictures may be taken during the events and posted on our website and social media pages such as Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram.

Your information will also be used by authorised staff within the Company to review the demographics of our event audience, and to see whether we are reaching our target audiences.

The information will be used by authorised staff for the purpose for which it was collected, to analyse and any other purpose which you have expressly consented to.

Data retention

Your information will be kept confidential and for the duration of the event and to comply with legal obligations imposed on us.

Information relating to emailing could be kept for a longer period in order to send you information on future events that may be of interest for you.

 

Data Sharing

Founding members: The event will be co-organised with other companies such as the MCB Ltd, Eclosia, Rogers, Currimjee and CIEL for the first edition. In the coming years following editions may potentially be led by additional founding members. Your data may be shared with these founding members only for the purpose stated above, for the administration of the event or to contact you thereafter, but always in connection to future events within the same subject.

 

Alentaris Consulting Ltd: We will transfer your Registration Data to Alentaris, our trusted partner, for pre-registration and registration purposes and communication with participants.

 

GWS Technologies Ltd (Website and Email Management service provider): We will also share your Registration Data with our trusted partner, who manages the event website and handles email communication with participants.

 

Our selected partners are bound by confidentiality obligations and will ensure that your personal information is kept safely.

 

Consent

Participants will be requested to provide consent for receiving marketing emails during the registration process.

You can opt-out of communication from us anytime by clicking the unsubscribe button provided in each message.

 

Your Rights

You have the right to ask us what data we collect on you. You also have the right to ask us to delete, amend or stop processing your personal data. We respect your privacy and your rights over your personal data and thus we will try to respond to your request in the most appropriate way. However, sometimes, under specific circumstances we may not be able to respond fully to your request and may keep your data securely for the prescribed period.
