Rosalind Gater

Rosalind Gater is a development professional with 15 years experience working with Government, the private sector, civil society and academia to drive outcomes through programme delivery and coordination. Rosalind began her career as a teacher and later joined the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office as an Education Adviser where she led policy development, and the design and delivery of large aid programmes in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Prior to relocating to Mauritius, Rosalind was Deputy Development Director in Rwanda where she oversaw teams delivering on human development, economic development, green growth and governance. In August 2024, Rosalind began her current assignment as Senior Technical Cooperation Adviser embedded in the Ministry of Finance to mobilise climate finance at scale.
