The Responsible Business Summit 2025 Mauritius brought together leading business groups, industry experts, and support from local and international organisations to discuss business transition.
Attendees, including business leaders, decision – makers, and sustainability professionals, engaged with thought leaders to share ideas and develop strategies for sustainable transformation in the corporate sector.
The objective was to encourage every industry to leverage its direct influence in advancing sustainable and responsible business practices in Mauritius.

Transition durable : les entreprises mauriciennes unissent leurs forces lors du Responsible Business Summit 2025
Le Responsible Business Summit 2025 (RBS25), coorganisé par Currimjee, Eclosia, IBL, MCB et Rogers, s’est tenu les 24 et 25 mars au Caudan Arts Centre à Port-Louis. En partenariat avec Business Mauritius, Produrable et le UN Global Compact – Indian Ocean, l’événement a réuni plus de 300 participants, parmi lesquels des dirigeants d’entreprises, des experts internationaux, des représentants d’institutions publiques et des acteurs de la société civile. Leur objectif commun : bâtir ensemble une économie plus résiliente et responsable.
Activating projects to turn ambition into action
The Responsible Business Summit in March 2025 will challenge businesses to move beyond awareness and translate intentions into tangible outcomes. More than just lofty goals, it is about addressing the urgent challenges faced by Small Island Developing States (SIDS) like Mauritius, including climate change, resource scarcity and the pressing need for sustainable development. The summit’s focus on “Activating projects” is a rallying cry for organisations to transform sustainability aspirations into impactful, real-world initiatives.

The Responsible Business Summit Mauritius, taking place in March 2025, will serve as a platform for transformative dialogue, inspiring leadership and actionable strategies to redefine business impact. Among the key themes under discussion, “Driving the impact” highlights the critical importance of incorporating impact as a core dimension in corporate decision-making, alongside risk and return.
