Dr. Myriam Blin is the Head of the Charles Telfair Centre, a think tank that promote the sharing of evidence-based knowledge on key SDG-aligned themes in the Western Indian Ocean region. An Economist by training, Myriam also sits on various Boards and Committees including the Board of Directors of LFL group and the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of Mauritius.
Myriam has over 20 years of experience in academia in the UK, UAE and Mauritius. She has numerous publications in the field of gender and the political economy of development. She holds an MA in Development Economics and a PhD in Economics from the University of Manchester (UK).
